Olimpia Splendid’s participation in the rEUman project provides the opportunity to take part in one of the most important challenges in the manufacturing sector, redesigning the processes for the home appliance industry to promote a more circular and sustainable economy. In  particular, Olimpia Splendid will be a benchmark industrial case: a starting point for analysing production needs and requirements, and a finishing point for testing the application solutions developed by the working group.

Olimpia Splendid’s commitment to sustainability is built around 5 key points:

  • EFFICIENCY | The heat pump as the key business technology to contribute towards the electrification, streamlining and decarbonisation of all domestic consumptions.

  • INNOVATION | Highly innovative solutions aimed at rewriting indoor comfort standards through joint partnerships with universities and research centres.

  • CIRCULARITY | Long-lasting components that can be regenerated to apply the principles of circular economy and prolong the product’s life while re-using its raw materials.

  • NEUTRAL | 100% carbon neutral production by 2040 through a decarbonisation pathway started in 2019, that has reduced emissions by 17%.

  • RESPONSABILITY | An active contribution in the fight against climate change through open innovation projects and awareness campaigns.
